Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is the official examination authority for NDA to recruit eligible applicants in Indian Defence Forces that includes Indian Army, Indian Air Force and Indian Navy. The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts the National Defence Academy (NDA) exam in various centres across the country. The examination is scheduled twice in a year, NDA (I) in the month of April 2018 and NDA (II) in the month of September 2018. NDA Age Limit:
- Candidate should not less than sixteen and a half and more than nineteen years as of July or January 01 of the year of commencement of the course.
- Only unmarried male candidates are eligible.
NDA Eligibility Criteria
- For Air Force & Naval Wings of National Defence Academy & for 12thCadet Entry Scheme at Indian Naval Academy- The applicants should have cleared Intermediate Exam (Class 12th) standard or equivalent examination with Physics & Mathematics from any recognized state education board or university.
- For Army Wings of National Defence Academy- The applicants should have cleared (Intermediate Class 12th) standard or equivalent examination organized by any State education board or university.
- The applicants who are appearing in 12thstandard or equivalent can also apply for this examination.
NDA Eligibility Criteria
The NDA exam will be offline based and there will be MCQ type questions in NDA exam. There will be a penalty for each wrong answer. The applicants will have to use only a black ball pen to marks their answers. The examination will have 2 parts- Mathematics & General Ability Test.
